The manual is divided into three sections for each of the three major technologies covered: chat, blogs, and wikis. Each section begins with a scenario of classroom technology use that is designed to provide a context for participant reflection and discussion of concerns. This is followed by discussion of the technology and its application in the classroom, with questions for reflection. There are also ‘Consider This’ side boxes of related information designed to spur additional discussion. Each section concludes with a case study analysis activity, using multimedia case studies that are available on the Computer-Mediated Activities website.
