Xiaofei Lu is Assistant Professor of Applied Linguistics in the Department of Applied Linguistics at the Pennsylvania State University. He received his M.A. (in English Language) from the National University of Singapore and Ph.D. (in Linguistics) from The Ohio State University. Dr. Lu has research interests in corpus linguistics, computational linguistics, and intelligent computer-assisted language learning (ICALL). His current work focuses on 1) the annotation, processing, and analysis of both native and learner corpora for language teaching and learning; and 2) combining linguistic knowledge and machine learning techniques for natural language processing. | |||
