What is a podcast?
A podcast is typically an audio or video file that is accessed by means of an "RSS feed", enabling the subscriber to automatically receive new podcasts as they become available, and access the back catalog of podcasts through their preferred media device.

What about CALPER's podcasts?
CALPER's Podcasts are in "mp3" format, enabling them to playback on most media devices. You can listen to CALPER's podcasts on your computer using a number of media players (CALPER recommends iTunes). For portable devices, refer to your owner's manual for instructions on moving media files from your computer to your portable device. CALPER may release video podcasts in the future. What does subscribing mean?
Subscribing to a podcast is simply a way of telling your podcast receiver to search for and download new podcasts (to which you have subscribed) automatically. There is no fee, and you may "unsubscribe" from any podcast feed at any time.

What should I do if I have difficulty connecting to the podcast, or playing the podcast?
CALPER will try to provide as much information and support to help with subscribing and hearing our podcasts. If you have any problems, and aren't able to find useful help online, you may contact the CALPER Technology Coordinator for assistance.
