CALPER's Co-director Kevin McManus received a three-year grant from the US Department of Education—International Research and Studies Program (IRS) for the project “Usage-Based Language Instruction: An Evidence-Based Approach to Improving and Strengthening the Teaching of Korean and Russian”.

The research team includes Susan Strauss (Applied Linguistics, Penn State), Lan Kim (Asian Studies, Penn State), Irina Mikaelian (Russian, Penn State) and Olesya Kisselev (UT-San Antonio). Congratulations to the team!
